Playing against teams from all over the world!
Island Cup Games (or short ICG) is an international ice hockey tournament which has been emerged from the ice hockey association Black Sheep. In its short existence, Black Sheep directly managed to organize a huge multi day international adult ice hockey tournament. In the last 9 episodes of this tournament we grow from 6 to 14 teams in the last two editions.
This is also the maximum we can handle for this three days event.
In the last edition we had teams form France, Germany, USA, Norway, Austria, Finland, Netherlands, etc.
Island Cup Games is a tournament for and by ice hockey players. In addition to the compative element, having fun is a very big element. But also making and maintaining friendships for life is certainly part of the whole. Island Cup Games is already taking care of this for the ninth time in a row. Many teams have been coming together for more then one edition now and that gives us the confidence that we are organizing something good.

The next edition of Island Cup Games is set on (exact date to be set) 2019. We hope to set the date as soon as possible! The booking office is now closed for registration! But pré registration for the 2019 is possible by contacting info@icg.events We try to have 14 teams again for next years edition of Island Cup Games 2019. The most beautiful sport in the world. Speed, agility, endurance, tactical insight and struggle. This is just a few of the things that make ice hockey such a beautiful sport. Not the best player wins the game but the best team.
Wonderful if this is all packed in three days.
Friendships
Ice hockey makes lifelong friendships possible. Ice hockey is therefore a universal language that every ice hockey player speaks. Hard but fair in the match, soft afterwards. Island Cup Games has proven after eight years that this really happened. Lifelong friendships have been created and maintained!
Fun
Ice hockey is not only a competition it is also fun. Winning a game without pleasure is a meager victory. The smiling faces during Isdland Cup Games give us the feeling that this combination works perfectly!

Why Join
Best Value For Money
Practically the entire registration fee of a team also flows back into the team. For a small 100 euros per person, the three days are filled with (high level) ice hockey, food, entertainment and ‘drinking’. In addition, each team gets its own lockable changing room with shower.
And the best participant in the tournament will receive a goodie bag with various items that include a souvenir of this edition of the tournament.
A better organized tournament with so many extras you will not easily encounter elsewhere.
GAME LEVEL
It is difficult to say beforehand what level the tournament will have. What we do see is that each year the level is always a bit higher. A number of teams from the previous editions would certainly not be out of place in the Dutch 1st division.
skill challenge
In 2018 we have added a new element to ICG. Called Skill challenge. Who has the hardest shot and who can shoot the most accurately.
HAVING FUN
The tournament is set up from the idea of meeting old friends again and making new friendships for life. This while enjoying a game of ice hockey, eating and drinking.

Pricing Plan
A team that registers consists of a maximum of 12 players (as example 11 + 1 goalie). The prize to participate in the tournament is therefore based on this number. Of course it is allowed to come with more players or goalies, however, these are charged separately.
Also accompanying family members and / or fans can participate in the organized dinners and party evenings. If these people are more than the basic number then we charge a soft price for that.
The parties where we have dinner and hold the party evenings must be informed in time about the number of participants. It is for this reason that we would like to receive as much acurate as possible from you beforehand.
